Southside Farmers Market · Canberra College, Phillip
Welcome
On Sunday mornings the grounds of Canberra College fill with around 60 growers, farmers and makers from around the Canberra region. It's the kind of market where you can do your whole week's shop. Fruit and veg, meat, fish, eggs, bread, honey and cheese, all sold by the person who actually grew or made it. Bring a basket, grab a coffee, and take your time.
On the day
Apples from Batlow, stone fruit, citrus from the Riverina and berries in season.
Just-picked seasonal veg from growers around Cowra, Hall, Marulan and the district.
Free-range eggs, farm milk, yoghurt and award-winning local cheeses.
Grass-fed beef, lamb, free-range chicken and duck straight from the farmer.
Fresh off the boats from the NSW South Coast each week.
Local honey, olive oil, preserves, sauces and condiments made in the region.
Wood-fired sourdough, Turkish bread, tarts, cakes and pastries.
Coffee, cacao, soup, gözleme, crepes and breakfast to eat in the courtyard.
